Performance Data Date Range
The latest dataset was made available in EQuIPP™ as of Monday, April 15. This dataset now includes 6-month performance information based off of prescription drug claims from September 1, 2018 through February 28, 2019.
NOTE: Year-To-Date (YTD) measurement Not Applicable
This is the second reporting period which includes prescription claims for the 2019 year. There will not be an updated Year-to-Date performance view until the May 2019 refresh. Pharmacies are still able to view their performance for the 2018 year by changing the measurement period view to “year-to-date” in your EQuIPP™ dashboard.
Quality Improvement Table for Pharmacies
As a reminder, the Quality Improvement Program (QIP) table for pharmacy users displays a pharmacy’s current performance for each health plan that has elected to share their plan-specific performance. Additionally, the table includes the performance goal for each measure and a percentile rank to help give perspective to the pharmacy’s performance for each health plan or program. If you see “N/A” as the percentile rank – the pharmacy has not met the minimum number of patients needed in the measure to complete the calculation.
CDC Influenza Surveillance ReportThe CDC Weekly Influenza Surveillance Report ending March 30, 2019, is showing that 33 states are experiencing widespread geographic influenza activity and 6 states are experiencing high influenza-like-illness (ILI) activity levels. A full situation update summary can be found following this CDC link.
The Influenza Vaccination measurement period will be available with the measurement period beginning on June 1st continuing through measurement period to March 31st, 2019 (May 2019 EQuIPP™ release will represent the end of reporting for this measurement period). Due to a new flu season, you may see a performance score of “0%” for the first Influenza Vaccination measurement period (June 1st – July 31st), until the measurement period captures vaccine administrations that would typically begin to take place in August.
